Meg Deamer Academy - 2016/17

After an Inspection it was determined that about $7,500 will be needed to bring the school into compliance with the recommendation of the inspectors. A new Go-Fund campaign will be created. Meanwhile we have had an expression of interest from the
Townshend Baháí School in the Czech Republic in developing a supportive relationship. This email was forwarded to Barnabas, and they have established contact

Dear Bryn

I hope you are well.  We recently saw a presentation about the Meg deamer Academy by a friend who visited the school.  We want to establish a supportive relationship between Townshend and the school.  Can you tell me how to do this and also tell me exactly where the school is - the name of the village.  One of our teachers is a Kenyan from the Eldoret region and he may be spearheading activities in our school to help the academy.

Lots of love to you Sherna

A Gofundme campaign held during 2016/17 raised a total of $7,200 which allowed the school to build two more class rooms and an office. This gave them one room for each class, grades 1 through 8.
The newly built class room completed in 2017 with the asssistance to a $1,000 gift from the students of the Townshend School in the Czech Republic, being used for graduation ceremonies.
